First of all we want to thank you for allowing us this interview

What is your nickname and if you do have a nickname how did you get it?
My nickname is K-9, I got it at a young age when I was in school with my friends they were all describing what animal they would be, when I was asked I said K-9, because im the top dog the leader of the pack they agreed and ever since I have been K-9 to everyone. 

How do you seperate fighting and your personal life?
There is a time to be a fighter and there is a time for family and friends, when im home I forget all about what moves I learned and who I will be fighting next.

Why fight MMA?

 why not! MMA showcases skill and makes you a warrior, your opponent can be better than you in your weak points yet you still have to devise a plan to beat them, in my eyes its the ultimate challenge, and I like to fight lol

Who is the best MMA fighter in your opinion?

  Anderson Silva followed by a close second Georges St-Pierre

Who was your toughest opponent?

 Phil doig

Where do you train and who are your trainers? 
 Airborne MMA/BJJ, My trainer is Eric Uresk and my strength and conditioning coach is Craig Portee

What do you look for in other fighters?
Heart and there will to win, you can train anyone to fight the ones who have the will to win when they are being beat and all odds are against them those are the type of fighters I look for the ones who are not afraid to stand and bang.

What motivates you to fight?
To be the best fighter in my weight class, at 145 there is alot of competition and that is something I would like to conquer to be the best in the world at my weight. 

What would you do if you were not a fighter?
I would be a social worker helping troubled kids 

If you could fight anyone in the sport of MMA, who would it be and why?
Fedor Emelianenko ! why not he's supposed to be the best in the world I would love to take on that challenge 

If you could fight anyone NOT in the sport, who would it be and why?
kanye west, just because I cant stand that guy

Have you any superstition or mania on fighting days? 
 I always go down to the water and clear my mind and say my prayers the day before weighing in

When will we be seeing you fight again?
Actually I will be fighting Feb. 26th for NEWBREED FIGHTERS PRO in the Showboat Casino at the house of blues in Atlantic City, NJ
